Trip to the Bay with Maw-Maw and Uncle Mike

ON Friday my grandmother (the kids Great-Grandmother) and i took the kids to the bay for a picnic and to let them throw pennies into the fountain. We were joined by my uncle mike, which my kids were SO EXCITED ABOUT!

When i was little and would come to daphne/fairhope to visit my dad, my Maw-Maw and Da would always load me up in the car and take me to Fairhope Pier to throw pennies into the fountain, and to feed the ducks. Those were prob. my best memories as a young child. I always remember that i would get to sit in my booster seat in the front seat, and Maw-Maw would sit in the back seat, almost like my Da and i were on a date. I remember my Da would put his arm over the seat behind me, i love that man so much.

When we would get down there i always had a bag full of coins to throw into the fountain and was told to make a wish.

I have been so terrible about doing "fun things" with my kids, i think it is because i get rapped up in just being busy! It was so nice to remember my childhood, and how much fun it was to just go relax... and enjoy your kids being little!!!!

Change is coming.....

I do not really know how to feel about this election. I feel like McCain & Palin would be a better choice than the other, but at the same time i have gotten very aggrevated at what people are saying about Obama and the fact that he is the antichrist and that the book of Revelations in the Bible speaks about him completely..... first of all if he is the antichrist and the book of Revelations DOES speak of him, then it doesnt matter what we do, he will come, he will regin, and the world WILL come to an end.....if he is not, then we can just deal with him for the next four years and hopefully we can fix it then.....but why are people scared? God tells us in the Bible it IS going to get worse before it gets better..... all that is, is Satan testing our love for Jesus Christ...not God punishing us, but in the end GOOD WILL TRIUMPH EVIL!!!!!

MOVING, MOVING, MOVING

So we have now moved into our 8th house in 3 years!!! i Know RIDICULOUS! I have NO IDEA what has made us change our address SO much in 3 years, except that we just kept trying shoes on and they would NEVER fit! The funny thing is, we have moved to the address that Hayden and I moved to when we met Jamison 3 Years ago...... how weird is that. It was destiny I KNOW, but man why does it feel like we go AROUND the WORLD sometimes JUST to find DESTINY, when it was in our FRONT SEAT THE WHOLE TIME!

So we are FINALLY MOVED IN, boxes ARE NOT all unpacked, but everything is here! hopefully this shoe will fit, it did the first time! To me it was like i walked into a store one day when i decided to buy a pair of shoes, tried on a pair, liked them, but then decided that i need to look around the store for 3 YEARS, then i really realized that the first pair were what was intended for me in the first place.....FUNNY HOW FICKLE WE ARE SOMETIMES!

When you marry.....

God tells in the Bible that when we get married we are to become ONE FLESH. That we are to CLING AND LEAVE. The greatest man that walks the earth would be my husband. He takes both of the passages in the Bible to heart and uses them on a daily basis for our marriage. The problem lies in what the "extended" family feels.

After speaking with many friends and close family members they seem to think that these two passages are THE HARDEST to abide by. Especially the GUY friends of mine. Why is it that more men do not CLING AND LEAVE or feel they become ONE FLESH when they make the vow before Christ. I spoke with a girlfriend of mine, we were talking about all of this and she made me think of a great quote, "Blood is thicker than water" I have heard many people use it but i never PONDERED the meaning of it until yesterday. If a man EVER says to his wife BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER than i believe there are two ways to take it!
1. He is saying that because his WIFE is not his blood than he has to side with his TRUE BLOOD
2. He is trying to escape from that awful fight between his MOTHER and his WIFE.

To me this quote should be thrown out of the mix, because we are ALL God's children therefore we are all the same blood. When you become 1 FLESH with your spouse, ur blood becomes each others, just as your eyes, hands, feet, skin, heart, and Brain all mesh, so does your blood.

My husband's favorite thing to say to me is, "You may be wrong, and i will tell you if you are, but i will NEVER back up someone other than you, you are my wife and i stand beside you, behind you, before you, all at the same time. That is why God put me on this earth for you."
